Former Italy coach Marcello Lippi is being linked with the Ukraine job.
Lippi could be going to Euro 2012 as Coach of hosts Ukraine.
The 2006 World Cup winner has been at a loose end since the disastrous tournament with Italy in South Africa over the summer.
He has said he is ready to return to work and had been linked with the benches at Roma, Juventus and Milan.
